Pat Ryan’s Patriot PAC endorses four Democratic candidates from St. Lawrence County

"Rep. Pat Ryan is endorsing a slate of local candidates statewide through his Patriot PAC – but don’t read into his decision to get involved too much, according to Ryan. Despite his name being on many lips for statewide office, he’s hoping to help steer a new generation of 'service-minded' Democrats for the love of the democracy game.


This slate includes a total of 85 candidates running for everything from town council to state Senate across 26 counties. That’s up from 17 total counties Ryan’s Patriot PAC endorsed in last year, after forming the PAC in September to support candidates from 'public service backgrounds' such as military veterans and teachers.  He called the efforts in 2025 'hugely successful' – three-quarters of the candidates Patriot PAC supported won their races – and said he hoped to build on the momentum this year."

Adam D. Jarrett, St. Lawrence County Legislature — Adam is a longtime St. Lawrence County resident and former Chief Medical Officer at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center who has practiced medicine across private, suburban, and rural settings for three decades. He's running for St. Lawrence County Legislature to bring a frontline healthcare perspective to issues of affordability and access.

Ginger Storey-Welch, St. Lawrence County Legislator — Ginger is a retired 33-year teacher at Colton-Pierrepont Central School, former CPTA union president, and hospice volunteer who co-founded North Country Neighbors for Civic Engagement. She's running for St.Lawrence County Legislature to fight for residents in remote communities who feel forgotten by county government.

Patrick Brady, St. Lawrence County Legislature — Patrick is a lifelong St. Lawrence County resident, retired superintendent of schools with 36 years in public education, and current Potsdam Town Councilman. He's running for St. Lawrence County Legislature to keep taxes manageable, bring sustainable jobs to the North Country, and strengthen services for families.

Setcher Krywanczyk, St. Lawrence County Legislature — Setcher is a North Country native, SUNY Albany Public Policy graduate, and Franklin County Foster Care Caseworker who has also organized with the Poor People's Campaign.. He's running for St. Lawrence County Legislature to restore trust and strengthen social services for families who depend on them.
