Cassie Forbus is a lifelong Lewis County resident, a mom, a wife, and a proud supporter of her family’s small business. She’s spent her career serving others—as a teacher, a nonprofit leader, and now as a healthcare grant writer working to bring critical resources into local communities. Her commitment to service continues through hands-on community volunteering across the region.

 

Cassie was raised here, and she chose to come back home to raise her family here—because she believes in the strength, resilience, and potential of rural New York.

 

She’s running for New York State Senate District 49 to ensure that rural communities are heard, respected, and represented. Cassie’s campaign is rooted in listening first, working together, and focusing on real solutions that help families live, thrive, and succeed.
